Notice: HSC Scientific Stores Closure

The Faculty of Health Sciences Scientific Stores in HSC 1G1 are closing after April 27^th, 2023.

Effective May 1^st, 2023, Lab Stores, located in Arthur N. Bourns Building, ABB-133, will assume operations and continue to support FHS researchers. Lab Stores will carry common products that FHS researchers have previously purchased through Scientific Stores and will continue offering special order services and delivery services to HSC and MDCL.

This transition allows FHS to assist with research needs while ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of an on-campus scientific supply. We will assess the gaps and opportunities over the next year and look to the research community for feedback.

Dry Ice will be available for purchase in HSC 4H15 effective May 1^st. A key is required to access the dry ice room. Please pick up a key from Scientific Stores (HSC 1G1) prior to April 27^th. There is one key per Supervisor/Lab available.

Please note, Scientific Stores’ last day open is April 27^th so NO DRY ICE will be available on April 28^th.

The remaining Scientific Stores inventory is available for purchase at a reduced cost. Please visit the store in HSC 1G1 before the end of the day on April 27^th to make purchases.
